Wakefield SENDIASS is a free and impartial service provided by Family Action.
The service supports children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), as well as their families, by offering information, advice and guidance.
How the service supports
Wakefield SENDIASS provides support with:
- Understanding SEND processes and systems
- Education, health and social care services
- Personalisation and personal budgets
- Signposting to other relevant services
The aim is to help families feel more confident in navigating support and making informed decisions.
Accessing the service
Referrals can be made by email or telephone.
