About
The main job of the Board is to make sure Wakefield identify and meet the needs of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The Board ensures the shared vision and strategy is adhered to and embedded in services and practice standards to improve outcomes for children and young people who have SEND.


Members of the Board
The Board has members from different partners and services that help and support children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The group meets 4 times per year. Members of the Board support and challenge each other and hold each part of the system to account.
