SENDIASS Steering Board
SENDIASS is part of the WESAIL contract. We have a SENDIASS Steering board.
Members of the group help shape and change the offer for children/young people with SEND and those around them in Wakefield.
The board is made up of professionals and parents/carers of those with SEND.
Meetings for the SENDIASS steering group are held 3-4 times per year virtually using Microsoft Teams.
We also aim to change the Chair each year. This is the chance to provide support and challenge to the service as well as leading the group.
Applications for Chair are considered by a panel and then if required, an interview takes place.
