SEN Assessment and Review Team (SENART)

SENART is the Special Educational Needs Assessment and Review Team. The team have responsibility for the implementation, coordination and development of all statutory framework procedures relating to children with special educational needs and requests for consideration of Education, Health and Care Plans. The team also: support schools in the implementation of statutory processes in relation to Special Educational Needs, support the aims of the wider Inclusion Service in regards to ensuring access to appropriate educational provision for children and young people with Special Educational Needs, and act as the Local Authority Representative in Mediation, Dispute Resolution and SEND Tribunal appeals brought by parents or young people.
