Wakefield Parent Carer Forum - SEND Soft Play

Our SEND Soft Play Sessions for our registered forum members and their children - including siblings are now available to book.

In partnership with A1 Football Factory, we are hosting a SEND Soft Play Session and have 26 places available for our members.


When - Specific Tuesday's (term time only)
Time - 4.30pm to 6.30pm
Where - A1 Football Factory, Pontefract WF8 1HG
Cost - £5 per child
 

What’s included -

• Entry to the soft play with 2 hours EXCLUSIVE use for our registered forum members

• A Hot Meal for each paying child (Chicken Nuggets & Chips or Hot Dogs & Chips)

• A Dilute Juice Drink

• 20% Cafe Discount for adults on food & drink

More about the sessions -

The sessions will be for the exclusive use of our forum members and their own children. Each session will last for 2 hours. We will be at the venue too to chat & offer support whilst your children play. There is a smaller play area for younger children and a larger play area for older children. Parents must remain within the soft play area to supervise their children during the session.

Booking is essential, if you are unable to make it and we can fill your places then we will be happy to offer a refund of your payment. If places are cancelled on the day and we are unable to fill your places then we will be unable to offer a refund as we will still have to pay for your places. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

SEND Soft Play Rules to keep the sessions running smoothly -

• No play fighting
• No wrestling
• Minimise physical contact
• No toys/other items to be taken into the play area
• Socks must be worn at all times

Parent/carers, you know your children and how they are likely to play. It is your responsibility to supervise your children at all times.

Please don't be offended if we ask you to speak to your child to stop something they are doing - we need to keep everyone safe and to make sure the sessions are enjoyable for all children. We have our own children so know how things can get sometimes, but there is no judgement, we just need you all to work with us on this. Please can you make sure you have discussed the rules with your children before coming to the next session.
