Options Autism have lots of factsheets to support a child or young person with autism. They are on topics like eating, transitions, behaviour, communication, sleep, siblings and mental health.
The Autism Education Trust (AET) have created a free guide for parents called 'Working together with your child's school'.
Barnardo's Wakefield SENDIASS website has some training for parents and carers on Autistic Spectrum. It is under the section titled 'Distance Learning Packages'.
Sensory Education have a wide range of resources to support children and young people. These include sensory baskets, lighting, chews, cushions and weighted blankets.
Molehill Mountain is an app for people with autism to help understand and manage their anxiety.
Integrated Treatment Services have visual resources that cover topics such as meal times, seasons and well-known stories.
Signing up for free at Makaton.org gives you access to lots of downloadable visual resources. These cover topics like words, activities, games, songs and stories.
