Wakefield Council is working with People, Places, Lives (PPL) to improve the Local Offer website. 

We know that the world of special educational needs and disabilities can be very hard to find your way through, and so we are looking to introduce is an "I am new to special needs" section. This will have simple information that a parent or carer might need right at the very start of their special needs journey. 

We would welcome your help in letting us know what we need to include. Our first thoughts are:

We are trying to balance immediate concerns that a parent or carer might have, along with pointing them to where to go for support.
