My favorites is where you can save a page or pages on the website to refer to later. You or someone who may be supporting you and your family can also print off this saved information as a booklet for you to keep.
When a booklet is printed, there is an option to add personal information to the cover so that a practitioner who may work with different families can identify what information they have printed for each family. This personal information includes name, address and email where applicable so that the booklet can be sent out. These details are not stored and do not appear on the page again if you print another booklet.
Details of any pages you add to My favorites to refer to later will still appear each time you open the website from the same device. This is because of the cookie technology we use on the website. You can change your device settings so that your cookies are automatically cleared when you log off the device if you don’t want pages to be saved. If you are a group or service that would like to join the Local Offer, free of charge, you can fill in your details online or ask for an application form to be sent to you.
When you give your details online, this will not be stored by the system but will be sent directly to Barnardo’s WESAIL who maintain the Local Offer website on behalf of Wakefield Council.
